This December, Alfred had lots of snow, and I'm sharing some photos I took in the village and its surroundings.

Looking back at 2025, it’s been a year full of many events: a research conference and presentation, chairing a hiring committee, new teaching and mentoring experiences, many music performances and new songs learned, and several books read or listened to. Whether a day was good or bad, I kept taking my Duolingo Spanish lessons, played sports, or... procrastinated - that happens too, of course.

I’m missing many dear people, but I also made some new friends. I’m thankful for many interesting conversations with students, and I hope they all have a great break.
