Today, at the Honors Convocation ceremony, I received the "Joseph Kruson Trust Fund Award for Excellence in Teaching". This award honors Alfred University's faculty for their commitment to academic quality, with the recipients selected by the students and faculty. I also had the pleasure of seeing many of our Computer Science students receive well-deserved honors, and of celebrating my colleagues' awards for their dedication to teaching and research.
